Mezzo-soprano Marta Herman has currently completed her Honours BMus in Vocal Performance at the University of Western Ontario.
Previous roles include Papagena in Die Zauberflote (CYOC), The Witch in Into the Woods (CYOC), La Maestra delle Novizie in Suor Angelica (UWOpera), and performances of La Boheme and Carmen (Toronto Opera Repertoire). Upcoming for Marta is the UWOpera production of Street Scene.
She is looking forward to singing in Die Zauberflote again, this time as the Third Lady, and would like to thank Nina and Tara for the great experiences that she's had being a part of this workshop. |

Herman, mezzo-sopran, studentka 4-tego roku w klasie śpiewu
wydziału muzycznego University of Western Ontario. Ze sceną
teatralno-operową związana jest od wielu lat. Występowała w Canadian
Children's Opera Choir oraz w chórze dzieciecym Toronto Opera
Repertoire.
Role solowe w Canadian Youth Opera Choir, Opera Nuova, Edmonton, UW Opera, London, Halifax Opera: Hansel, "Hansel und Gretel", Third Lady "Die Zauberflote" Mozarta, La Maestra delle Novizie, "Sour Angelica" Pucciniego, Secretary, "The Consul" Menottiego. Wiosną tego roku śpiewała Tesse w premierowym przedstawieniu nowej kanadyjskiej opery "The Lottery". |
